holistic counselling

my Approach

I believe that one’s mental and physical health are intrinsically linked and many factors can play a part in why one aspect of an individual may become unbalanced or misaligned. My heart-centred approach to the therapeutic process provides a space where an individual feels supported in exploring their own empowerment and strengths. This approach allows individuals to come back into wholeness with themselves through working with somatic experiences and emotions as well as evaluating their values to look at the motivations and reasoning behind their behaviours and beliefs.

my Intention

My intention as a therapist is to provide a safe and non-judgemental environment where individual’s are free to explore their strengths, achieve their goals, understand their own limitations and fears as well as work through current challenges. My aim is to guide individuals toward overall wellbeing, increased self-awareness and self-expression, as well as relational success both in personal life and career. I aim to see an individual thrive in every aspect of their life.

my experience

I have over 15+ years working in the Health and Wellness Industry hosting workshops, running private and group sessions, and working one on one with individuals to achieve their personal goals. I have a clear understanding of the integration of mind and body as a whole from my studies and personal experience with alternative healing modalities, ancient yogic philosophy, mythology, movement practices as well as holistic and integrative approaches within Counselling and Psychotherapy.

my EDUCATION

I have a Diploma of Counselling and I am currently completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy with Ikon Institute Australia. I have acquired over 6 years of study in the fields of Health Science and Traditional Chinese Medicine which have informed my knowledge of holistic principles in alternative healing therapies and mental health.
